About Chef Christophe and Josephine
For more than 20 years, Chef Christophe and Josephine have been sharing their love of French food and culture at their restaurant Le Très Bon in Bungendore, located in the Capital Region between Canberra and the South Coast of NSW in Australia.
They’ve also welcomed guests on their international gourmet tours and to cooking classes, both in person and virtually.
Everything Chef Christophe and Josephine do reflects their professional expertise and their ethical approach, their love of community, their respect for place and their heartfelt intention to build bridges between cultures.

Chef Christophe
Chef Christophe trained in France and has travelled the world as a chef. He is President of the Escoffier Association in Australia and has trained chefs in Europe, the Pacific, the Americas and Australia. Not only is he an awarded chef but he’s also a very popular teacher, warmly and generously sharing his culinary expertise.
On Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024, at a special reception held at the French embassy in Canberra, Christophe Gregoire was bestowed with the Knight’s Medal of the Order of Agricultural Merit (Chevalier Médaille de l’Ordre du Mérite Agricole) by His Excellency Mr. Pierre-André Imbert, the French Ambassador, representing the French Republic.

Josephine
Josephine trained in health promotion and has worked in Australia and overseas in this field, bringing her knowledge and people-focussed approach to everything she does. Josephine’s command of the French, Italian and English languages is an especial asset.
